Another quiet week in the top 100 but as they say quality over quantity... Let's see what the MKDS players page cooked up in the last week of July! The Bell Curve MTing fast #8 (-0.0156) Abel Marques submitted a sole improvement on RLC1 PRB flap of 22.983 for #15, finally beating his old 2009 WR of 23.066! #30 (-0.7969) Axel Verplaetse was absolutely cooking this week, starting off with RCI2 PRB 47.185/15.432 for #44/#41, then moving to RYC 1:26.443/27.916 #36/#48. After getting done with his routine cleanup, he showed his true level by first getting LM 30.242 SC flap for #29, and then an insane RBP 42.556 for #7 WW! Congratulations on the RBP time and for the SC on LM especially, great times! #46 (-3.2656) SirLampsALot dropped a bomb this week with a massive 3 AF cut! He smashed his old 1:27 on CCB with a 1:25.666/27.984 (some soul selling involved there?) for #54/#63, then got another 2 second cut on DKP with a 1:48.845 for #64, and finally went deep into the sub 56 territory on RPC with a 55.689 for #35! Congratulations on these huge cuts, and good luck for the future! #53 (-0.2656) Joel Vermette makes a small improvement on his DS 3lap from last week with a 1:33.116 for #74, and begins the YF 3lap GOD grind with a 47.649 for #87! Tune in next week to see how that YF went... #76 (-0.9219) Oliwia Tachyon had a relatively quiet week, but still put together a 0.9 AF cut! Summer Jamming #37 (-2.2968) Axel Verplaetse starts us off this week with a massive 2 AF cut in PRB! His cleanup project is going well with a RPC 52.144/17.300 for #39 / #49, RLC1 23.417 for #40, and RSG 1:02.524/20.304 for #41 / #26! Recently Axel has shown that he can, and will, play any category at the highest level, and I am excited to see where it goes! #47 (-1.5625) SirLampsALot went god hunting this week! He started off with a nice appetizer of CCB 1:27.692/28.140 for #102/#71, moving to the main course of a LM 30.460 for #47 and GOD, and then a DS 29.457 for #42 and GOD. Great work and good progress! #53 (-0.8281) Joel Vermette is closing in on the top 50, and he put up another great week! He started off on F8C with a 24.873 flap for #90, and then moved to DS where he got a 1:33.270 / 29.495 GOD for #77 / #46! We have that fantastic DS flap to thank for Lamps improvement on DS, great progress and good luck on the top 50 WW! #69 (-0.2344) Dylan Rees enters the top 70 this week with some nice BLS action! He got RLC1 1:13.763 #70, and an RKB2 43.434 for #79! Steady upward progress as usual, keep it coming! #76 (-0.2813) Oliwia Tachyon got some big new times this week, starting off with an RBP 8.154 for #38 that also ties me (wow!), and a big sub on RSG with 21.994 for #87! Nice job on that BP flap especially, good luck on future improvements! #85 (-0.6710) Maple Tannhauser was also cooking on RBP, getting a 43.060 / 8.159 for #71/#43, along with a nice pair of RMC1 times of 42.306 / 13.251 for #68 / #51! RBP flap is a classic test of fast MTs and no doubt the NoR GOAT was up to the challenge, great work! Activity #11 Advaita Venkata overhauled YF this week, punching in an impressive 46.410 / 15.160 (#12 / #9)! This netted him another excellent 0.1875 AF cut, continuing his journey towards the coveted top 10 spot! #48 SirLampsALot submitted a cool five new times this week! He put together LM 1:34.589 / 31.032 (Myth E / Titan A), DS 1:32.488 / 29.662 (Myth E / Myth C), and a fantastic AF flap of 34.443, his first top 25 time! His efforts this week gave him a whopping 2.5938 AF cut, passing two people and bringing him to Myth C overall! #54 Joel Vermette got a trio of new times, driving rSG 1:09.522 / 21.427 (Myth C / God), and SR flap 33.160 (Myth E)! This cut a nice 0.3438 AF, allowing him to commit what he calls a bit of Szabotage as he passes Etch for the 54th WW spot! #76 Oliwia Tachyon put together a nice collection of times this week, grabbing AF 1:47.087 / 34.995 (Titan A / Myth D), rBP 8.171 (God), rPC 56.672 (Titan C), and rSG 22.091 (Titan B)! The Champion Challengers #7 (-0.0312) Abel Marques is our first challenger this week, and he went sub 1:26 on PG NonPRB with a 1:25.914 for #10! He is only 0.2 AF away from passing TB1 on PRB, quite the impressive feat! #11 (-0.5156) Advaita Venkata decided it was time to get serious! I finished my RSG grind from last week with a 1:07.552 for #9 WW, and then dropped a 0.5 AF cut on YF with 46.465/15.191 for #17/#16! This was enough to pass TB1 (the GOAT) on NonPRB to reach #11 WW, but rest assured that the YF destruction is only getting started... #50 (-0.5781) SirLampsALot started off his adventures this week on AF with a 34.697 for #44, along with an RLC1 24.014 for #52 and GOD. However, the real feat this week was on RLC2, where he smashed his PRs, getting a 1:19.356/25.880 for #43/#52! Great work this week, and everyone should stay tuned for the improvements on AF next week! #61 (-0.6094) Joel Vermette played the spread this week, starting off on SR flap with a 33.249 for #77, a very fast BC 37.100 #53, and concluded the week with an excellent RCI2 49.861 for #50! Activity #2 Taiga gets some new times in with the revised proof standard changes! These times bring the battle for world champion back to within 0.05 AF, we'll have to wait and see if there will be a final push to reclaim champ! #8 Abel Marques put together a single time this week, with a strong PRB PG 1:25.659 (#11)! This earned him a 0.0312 AF cut, inching within 0.15 of the #7 spot. #12 Advaita Venkata took to the skies this week, betraying all Standard DB truthers with an rSG tank run of 1:07.648 (#11), and also scoring a strong 20.978 (#7) for the flap! #39 Axel Verplaetse revised much of his sheet on PRB this week, scoring MC 27.917 (God), DH 21.987 (Titan A), rLC1 1:12.163 (Titan C), rDP1 54.141 / 17.455 (Titan C / Titan B), rCI2 15.477 (Titan C), WP 1:54.801 / 31.490 (God, #22 / God, #20), rSG 1:03.136 / 20.550 (Titan B / Titan B), and rBB 1:45.931 / 34.900 (Titan A / Titan A)! This overhaul brings him to an impressive 63/64 PRB Titan times, missing only rCI2 3lap to complete the set! #50 SirLampsALot collected a trio of new times this week, putting together YF 15.389, rLC1 1:13.114, and rSG 21.372, all Gods! This earned him a 0.9375 AF cut, giving him some steady progress towards the #49 spot. #51 Fiona put in her first submissions of 2026 this week, grabbing rMC1 42.099 (God) and a nice top 30 rFS flap of 32.122! Only time will tell if she will reclaim top 50 worldwide... #56 Joel Vermette achieved 3 new times this week, overhauling BC with 1:55.578 / 37.303 (Myth E / Myth D), and then getting a clean rBP 8.151 (God)! His efforts earned him a nice 0.6562 AF cut, allowing him to pass one person! #69 Dylan Rees had another great week, putting together WP 2:01.520 / 40.100 (Myth E / Titan A), DS 30.249 (Titan E), TTC 1:36.146 / 30.932 (Titan C / Titan A), rCM 35.926 (Myth C), and rYC 1:27.694 / 28.229 (Myth E / Myth D)! This allowed him to rocket past 5 people this week and bring his AF to sub-90! #80 Oliwia Tachyon similarly had a very productive week, driving 9 brand new times! These times include CCB 28.174 (Myth E), DH 22.380 (God), AF 35.346 (Titan C) , PG 1:30.647 (Titan C), RR 39.567 (Titan B), rPC 17.988 (God), rBP 43.212 (Titan A), and rKB2 43.591 / 13.373 (Titan D / God)! Her efforts slashed 2.6410 AF, jumping 3 people to enter the top 80! #85 Maple Tannhauser overhauled MC this week, grabbing 1:33.405 / 30.073 (Titan E / Titan D)! This pushed them into the top 85, passing two people! #98 Xanthan G makes his triumphant debut into the top 100! He has been absolutely blazing through the charts, this week being no exception! Hi everyone! This is Astrid, I've been given the privilege (burden) of becoming the newest member of the MKDS Updating Team! Thank you to Max and Quantum for trusting me to not rig everything on the page in my favor going forward. I will try my best to keep things running smooth like usual! Max mentioned last week that given the proof standard changes that Taiga's WRs will be added to the page this week. We're still working on compiling these times, so they will be added in the next update. Apologies for the delays! Inactivity New Players #_ Mario Moreta joins the site from Spain, sending in an incomplete timesheet of 3laps in the Beginner to Intermediate range. Activity #10 Alessandro Boi finally unhoarded his times, dropping DH 1:11.391 (#16), WS 1:54.230 (#10), rDP1 55.266 / 17.532 (#5 / #4), and of course, the time that we've all been waiting for, rLC2 flap 25.334 WR! This is the first WR for MKDS of 2026, so big congrats! These times gave him a substantial 0.9687 AF cut, but not enough to pass anybody quite yet. #12 Advaita Venkata put together a nice bundle of times this week, netting himself dual LM times of 1:31.641 / 29.872 (#10 / #13), and rYC 1:25.529 (#17). This cut him 0.0782 AF, making steady progress towards the #11 spot. #50 SirLampsALot just barely beats the deadline, getting in a nice pair of times in SR 1:41.139 Myth D and rSG flap 21.625 God! This earned him a clean 0.75 AF cut, maintaining his position at the edge of the top 50 for now. #57 Joel Vermette brought us just one time this week, but made it count with a strong CCB 1:26.678 Myth D! This cut 0.2969 AF, bringing him to a tie for 57th and achieving Myth D overall! #74 Dylan Rees snagged his 4th God time, driving a nice DH flap of 22.491! He also got a nice pair of times on rBB, scoring 1:48.636 Titan B and 35.655 Myth E! This netted him a 1.1406 AF cut, enough to cut one spot! #83 Oliwia Tachyon is our last entry, but certainly not the least as she brings us the most times of the top 100! She put together CCB 1:26.728, SR 1:42.815, PG flap 29.099, rDP1 flap 18.099, rKB2 13.406, and rYC flap 28.656. This gave her a nice 1.0780 AF cut, bringing her from 84th to 83rd! Our top 100 hopefuls for this week include #110 Xanthan G (-8.4530, Titan D), #194 Faye Valentine (-0.3120), #376 Sebastian Mies (-2.7970, Expert E), #643 Damien M (-37.8590, Intermediate A), #723 Daelyn (-1.3910), #760 Jpuprocks (-51.2350, Intermediate C), and #808 DuckSGS (-1.1100, Intermediate D). Unranked Nope! New Records Alessandro Boi took down Cole's rLC2 flap with a clean 25.334! A New Champion Emerges Max28 @ Friday, June 19th   [link]

Greetings all, and welcome back to another MKDS news! Max here, bringing you the long-awaited, much-heralded news of a new champion! Cole has officially untied David for the #1 spot in Non-PRB, etching his name into the former #1s page with a reign lasting as long as he can defend it! It's a busy time this week, as not only that, but... The proof standards update is here! We will now officially be accepting Live Ghost or HD recordings for Top 20 times, except for certain SC times where we will still enforce the older proof standards. For more info, please see this post. The Times Submission Thread OP is updated as well. In the next update, we are planning to collect and add all the Taiga times with video that would be valid under these updated rules, so there may be a minor shakeup to the top of the charts. Those added up to a 0.7969 AF cut in Non-PRB, good enough to pass Charles Edouard and move another step towards the top 50! #84 Oliwia Tachyon took down 2 new times with Non-PRB rBP 8"182 #56/God and rKB2 13"426 Myth A! Greetings all, and welcome back to another MKDS news! Max here with an important announcement: this is not your ordinary news update... we have a new time trial champion! More precisely, a new tied champion! He's finally reached the top of the hill, but still needs to knock the current champion off... but more on that later! For now, let's get right into the update for week 1 of June 2026! Inactivity New Players #_ Sullivan McClelland joins from the USA with Intermediate 3lap times on F8C and YF. Activity #1 Cole Edwards has made it to the top! As I alluded to earlier, he delivered a new PR of Non-PRB rYC 27"535 #6 to tie him for the #1 spot! He is undoubtely ranked #1 right now, but if we consult the fine print on the past champions page... "If two people were tied at some particular point in time, we only count someone as being a new champion if (when) they broke the tie and became outright 1st." So while reaching #1 is a huge achievement and he deserves all the plaudits that come with it, we're still waiting for him to push that 1 extra spot to untied champ! It could not be any closer at the top! #52 SirLampsALot set 3 new times this week, sending in rMMF 1'04"695 Titan A and rBC2 1'33"066/30"244 Myth B/God! He earned a delightfully round 0.7500 AF cut, but that wasn't enough to pass anyone this week. #59 Joel Vermette picked up a pair of new scores with rMMF 20"979 Myth E and rPC 17"975 God!
